How old were you when you had your first child?

Did you want to have him/her earlier in life?  Later in life?  Or was it perfect timing?  I honestly would've liked to have my son earlier, being that he's my only child and I was 30 when I had him.

I had my first 4 days after my 1 year wedding anniversary when I was 19. I wanted to have my kids early so that I would still be young and active when they were all grown. I'll be 42 when my youngest is 18.

I had my first when I was 29 and I having another one at 31 if I could do it all over again I wish I would have had them both alittle sooner (maybe 26-27).

 I was 29.  Now, looking back I wish I would have had her earlier but I didn't get married till I was 27 when I got married, and then it took us a whole year to get pregnant.  So, yeah, I concentrated on college before settling down.  My ovaries are having issues working now so she may be an only child.

 I had my first at 25 (almost 26), I think that was perfect timing. I don't know if I would have been ready to have kids younger.
