How many of you think he was up to no good?

My husband conveniently deleted the search history on our computer while I was gone overnight. He has never done so before. I firmly believe he was up to no good and don't know what to do or how to find out exactly what kind of "no good" he was up to. And by the way, we have a history of him being up to no good, though it hasn't happened since we've been married, the no good was many years ago. Any thoughts or advice? Am I overreacting?

Is your husband a good guy? Is he decent to you? Do you trust him?  If you say yes, then I would let it go.  Maybe the poor guy watched some porn or something and doesn't want you to know that he was on any of those web-sites.  I would simply let it go.

I think I would just put it in the back of my mind and not worry about it unless he does something else to cause you to suspect him of any wrong-doing.

Ditto, if it happens again, then look into it.

How did you even find out he deleted the history?  Why did you check it?  Sounds like there is more to the story.

There is more. I don't trust him because something has just been off lately. Can't figure out just what it is though. We have been together almost 14 years, married for almost 9. Have only had computer for about 3 months. Our last computer was about 11 years ago, which he used internet to have inappropriate relationships with other women. Since we have been married and had our children, our marriage has been mostly good. But I repeat, something is just off lately. Anyone know of another way I can figure out what he was looking at? Porn I can live with. Attempted cheating I can't.

I agree, I have hit ctrl+h on aol and accidentally deleted my history. I wouldnt worry about it and just see if anything else like that happens

He admits to clearing it intentionally. And that is all he will say about that.

deleting the history is just covering tracks....it JUST DOESN't Happen on accident like the other poster mentioned...
