I have a Mac, I don't need protection :)

I have free AVG and spybot that I run at lunch time once or twice a week. I also delete any temporary folders everyday. Tools, internet options, delete history, delete all folders and add ons. I stay pretty safe, but sometimes I have to run in safemode to scan.

I did for my PC since MS operating systems are chalk-full of security holes but I don't have anything for my iMac.

Your best bet is to buy something like Norton Anti-virus or McAfee Anti-virus; always update security patches on your machine (use Windows auto-update) and never ever open up any attachments or emails from people you don't know.

I run Norton Internet Security on 3 of our PCs.  I think we have AVG on the other; we rarely use it, so I can't remember.  I'm also picky about emails I open and web sites I visit.  If they look fishy, I don't open them.
