shoppingDo you hide veggies in your kids food? If so how?

My son will eat veggies but the 2 kids I am watching don't really care for them...

Today to hide veggies I added shredded carrots to peanut-butter & banana sandwiches.

For dinner I made tacos & added a blended mixture of tomatoes, green peppers, onions, jalapenos, & spinach to the cooked turkey meat

My son LOVES veggies!  His favorite food is Brussels sprouts.

My daughter is much pickier and would prefer anything with sugar.  We just try to pick anything she is willing to eat, or let her pick the main entree at dinner while DS picks the veggies.  Last night DD had her favorite meal which is bacon wrapped salmon and asparagus.

I don't make my kids eat their veggies at dinner, but if they want dessert or a snack later, then they have to finish their dinner.  Period. Their choice.  After a day or two of everyone else getting a yummy dessert, they will choke it down.  lol.

I usually have baby carrots and cut cucumbers, anything raw, etc in the fridge for them to eat anytime they want it, even for breakfast, if they want.  I know it's not typical breakfast food, but how can I say no to veggies?  lol.

I puree them and hide them in spaghetti sauce or macaroni and cheese

I never have to hide them in the food, my kids love veggies, but sometimes I have to hide the veggies and the fruit or they will eat it all in like three days, I shop once a week so i hide it and dole it out as needed..
