I can't take it anymore!!!!  They are chewing on EVERYTHING. I got them new bones and they won't chew on them instead they steal our food, I put food up on the counter and when I leave the room they get up and eat, They chew up my kids toys, even when they are put away, they put holes in 2 of Hubby's new shirts that were hanging up to dry and NOW They chewed up our TV Remote. Unacceptable!!!! I have a bunch of toys and bones for them this is pissing me off. Now I have to tell Hubby and he is really going to flip!!

I know this sound harsh, but have you tied muzzles? not the keep the mouth completely closed kind but the Wire Basket Dog Muzzle, they can still drink thru it and you can take it off at feeding time. I found it on ebay for my large german shepard.

Are they puppies?  Either puppy or adult, training classes can help the situation greatly.  I had a pit/boxer that chewed everything.  One day she got hold of a cord to the shredder and it was plugged in.  She got quite a jolt but never chewed anything she wasn't supposed to again.  I now have a chihuahua puppy that chews everyhting and we are trying to break her of it.

How old are they? Dogs go through terrible 2s just like kids, my dog ate everything when she was 2. She chewed THROUGH the hamper to eat my clothes.

It also could be a sign that they are bored. Pitts are very smart dogs that need alot of stimulation. Have you tried putting peanut butter in hallow bones, there are reusable ones you can buy, hide treats for them to find, take LONG walks, build a mini obstical course in your back yard. They are like kids and need to be kept busy or they are brats.

Pits (and most bully breeds in general) are very very active. You have to have the energy to match there's or its not going to work. I know, we've been there. Good luck on finding them new homes! If you still want a dog, just not as active try Gray Hounds. They are 45mph couch potatoes! Super relaxed believe it or not :)

I won't really sell them, its just truly frustrating. We didnt think through thoroughly befor ewe told my SIL we would take 2. I let them run aroun din the backyard. I can't take them on walks yet due to their collors not fitting and they have gotten out and ran around. I am trying to let them be dogs. My SILs dog is locked up all day and it makes me feel bad.
