feeling guilty

Having mixed feelings of having my daughter in daycare and me working full time. I started taking her when she was 3 months she's 1 year old now. Having another baby in May and don't know if I want to go back to work after the 2nd baby. I've always worked since I was 16 so I don't know how I would handle being at home all day. But looking at my daughter and thinking of those special moments I missed cause I was at work makes me want to do it. Sorry this is the first thing that popped in my head this morning :-)

I would sit down with my husband and share these feelings and ask what you can live without and cut out of your budget to make being at home w/ 2 kids (or maybe working part time) more affordable.  Hopefully, he will feel the same as you do b/c no one else will be able to raise your kids as well as you do and they are only this young once.  I stay at home with my 3 kids, 6, 4 and 2 years old.  I have friends who work and yes, they can afford more expensive things than we have...new stuff, cars, tv's and "toys", bigger houses, etc., b/c of 2 incomes but you'd be surprised at what you really don't need.  My friends who work tell me they wish they were home with their little ones and feel like they are missing all the "firsts" like first step, first word, etc.  I'd see what your budget allows, talk to your husband, and maybe join one of the budget groups here at Cafemom for advice.  Good luck!!  Hugs to you : )
