Losing post baby weight

So it has been 6 months since I had my baby... and I am ready to get this weight off!  I have been counting calories for 2 1/2 weeks and doing zumba 2 days a week.  I have been eating good foods at a place that preps only healthy fresh foods.  Any pointers on losing baby weight?  I am 191 lbs :( and only 5' 4" - blah!  I had help syndrome (severe toxemia) so that really put on some pounds.

Any advice is soooo welcome!

I have a desk job and some of my coworkers will be walking on lunch, so hoping that will add to losing this weight!

keep doing what you are doing. getting the weight to start coming off can sometimes take a few weeks of living right. try to incorporate strength building exercise. increased muscle mass is good for the bones and it increases the amount of calories you burn 24/7.

don't do any fads or waste your money on pills. they can't do anything you can't do on your own - and it will be much healthier.

Keep it up. It wont happen overnight and you wont want it to. The faster you take it off the more apt you will be to put it back on. Taking your time in your weightloss journey not only helps you learn what works best for you, but you'll take it off in a healthy way and keep it off.Good luck!:)

It took me 3 years to get back to my pre-baby weight. That's where I am now. It may take a while, but you can do it!! ;o)

No. My little girl was a preemie, pumped for two months while she was in the hospital. I sure wish I had gotten the chance to. Just grateful I got to do what I could for her :)

Just found this post.  I too am having problems losing the baby weight.  I worked out for 3 weeks straight before a single pound came off.  Even now it's still slow going but I'm hoping to stick with it.  I guess it's just nice to know there are others out there with the same problems as yourself.
