How to Teach Letters in a Way that is Interesting to Your Child
I don't know about you guys, but my my three year old just isn't interested in letters. I've been a little embarrased at how other kids seem to know all their letters, but mine just doesn't care. I'm not too worried yet, but I did a project with her the other day that she really loved so I thought I would share it. I just used glue to spell out a name and then I gave her leftover sprinkles from making Christmas cookies. I put the paper in a shallow tin and let her sprinkle the name for it to come to life. I used her name, her friends names, grandparents, etc. so she really enjoyed it. After we were finished, she even told her little brother, "See Buddy? That spells Paaapaaa" I was so proud of her! She really loved pulling the finished product out of the tin and we worked on it for so long that we finally just ran out of glue! I hope you enjoy it too.
