I hope you find your dream job, mama! Just keep looking and do not get discouraged.  Sometimes it takes a while to get what you want, speaking from personal experience here.

I changed my life drastically when I was 28, moved to the US, got married, had a child, graduated law school - all within 2 years.  Job search process was not easy, I turned down a couple of offers because it was not what I wanted.  I found what I was looking for though, so just keep looking and do not forget what your priorities are in the process.

good luck

I hate the waiting game
I was told that if she liked my resume I should get a call right away
Nothing yet
But I'm not worried I have another interview Monday

I'm in the same boat, I lost my job in Nov and tho I am fortunate enough to claim unemployment, its still not enough. I found a PT job, but its only a couple hrs a week if they call me. I am in the process of having my resume redone.

I am in the same boat as you are. I have been submitting apps and my resume, and keep getting back "Thank you for your application, but at this time you did not qualify/you do not meet our qualifications/we have found someone higher qualified than you at this time..."  Sucks.

I found one of my problems is due to the couple huge gaps in my employment. I have two gaps each of over 2 years. One gap I was living out of the country, the other gap was due to a misunderstanding/falsification at a job which resulted in my being terminated, and I didn't want to deal with fighting it because of the manager that fired me... so I just stayed home with my kids until our financial situation became too tough to handle... but I couldn't put that into a cover letter, lol!!  I finally came up with a cover letter explaining those gaps, but in a way that sounded positive. I just applied at a job locally, and I hope I get it, even though it's only 20 hours a week right now.
