How did you celebrate the big 30?

Did you have a party? Go out with friends that were also turning 30? Did you freak out about it or not?

I'm turning 30 this year and I just was curious what everyone else did.

(I didn't join 20 something mamas, cause it's my last year as a 20 anything.)

Wife to Erik, mama to Ethan and Sophia.

I went to Vegas with my sister. We're twins, so we celebrated. This was before kids.

Went to a baseball game

Just got back from a friend's "dirty 30 party" in Vegas though.  That was fun!

I went to dinner with my now ex bf.  Then I went home and baked cookies for a cookie swap at work.  (My birthday is a week before Christmas exactly.)  He bought me a really nice present but we didn't do anything exciting.

Ugh... Had a terrible 30. I was 4 months preggo. Needless to say I cried pretty much all day. And my hubby was out of town so I was home taking care of kids!

I took the day off work and went into the local dealership and bought myself a truck! LOL happy birthday to me! Then I stayed home with the kids, my live in BF brought home a cake.  It was a wonderful evening. Then we drove around all evening and tried out the 4 wheel drive in the mud!

Turning 30 didn't bother me much.  When my daughter turned 5 I had a mini melt down tho, "my youngest is 5! My baby girl is 5 now!"  That was harder to get use to than turning 30, I think maybe the new wheels helped out a lot!
