Put their dish sponge in the dishwasher?

I wash mine in the dishwasher to help kill the germs on it. My mom washes hers with her white clothes with bleach. Does anyone else our are we just weird? Lol!

Microwave it! I had a chemistry/biology teacher tell me to "nuke" mine on high for 30 seconds..and it will kill are germs!

I dunk it in water and then nuke it in the microwave sometimes. But mostly I just throw them away pretty often.

I wash mine with the whites with bleach or with the towels and add a little bleach.

i dont use them at all just wash clothes with a textured side they go in the washing machine to wash then dry in the dryer with whatever I wash next :)

I microwave ours as well! I also learned this from my biology professor.

I don't keep them around long enough to need to wash them.  And I use a separate one for 'dirty dishes' (that have been used for raw meat of to clean something dirty) and for 'washing dishes' - everything is wiped down before washed.  I also have separate sponges for meat, dairy and pareve (neither meat or dairy).
