I am wondering if you pay for your teenagers traffic tickets?
I haven't got a child that old yet but no if they ever got a traffic ticket I would not pay for them.
Not yet but I wont! Dh's parents never paid for his. They'd loan him the money if neccesary but made sure he paid it back.
Even though it's on there licence I THINK that the parent is liable for legal fine's of a minor but you can all ways make the kid pay you back !
If they are old enough to drive then they can pay their own way. They can fill up the tank and pay any fines IMO.
My kids aren't old enough yet (only another 5 years for my oldest though) but they won't be getting a free ride. They will be taught if they break the law they have to pay for it.
I have never had speeding fine in the 20 odd years that I have been driving!!!!
Mine isn't driving yet but I don't think that I would. If they don't have a job they can work off the money by doing chores around the house.
When our oldest got one for not stopping at a stop sign, we made him pay it to teach him a lesson.
