I just read a post in another group saying we shouldn't shop at Abercrombie, Hollister, American Eagle, or Aeropostale. I love those places. The only one I haven't gotten clothes for myself from is Aeropostale. My daughter gets hers there. I feel like as long as you look decent, it should be fine. It's just jeans & t-shirts. So where should I be shopping? {I do go other places too, but I'd love to hear your suggestions.}

I don't shop at the first 2 just because they only make clothes for stick thin people. The AE I would totally shop at if I could afford the prices (things are tight right now) and I'd never shop at Aero. I worked there so I know what its like in the one we have and their snotty judgemental bitches to anyone who walks into their store who's more than a size 2. I'm an old navy shopper for the most part.

If I could fit my fat ass in any of their clothes, I'd shop there! :-P

I say a person should shop wherever they like as long as the the chosen attire is accommodating to ones size and figure....

Maurice's is the only place I get jeans

Quoting smtxcowgirl:

JC Penneys has cute clothes if you look in the right sections.

I love Maurice's, though. Their jeans are awesome.

 I don't see anything wrong with older women shopping at those stores as long as they aren't trying to get away with clothing that is too tight or too revealing. You can wear what the young girls are wearing while still looking age appropriate.

I shop at Kohls, Old Navy, The Buckle, Ross, JC Penny and online from Alloy.

I don't shop at any of those places because they are not my style. I like to shop at places like JC Penney and Target.

I don't only because that isn't my style of clothing. I shop at Hot Topic and other "gothy/alternative" stores.
