My HORRIBLE Mother's day

OMG.  My husband is so ignorant.  I had to spend the entire day with him and our kids (except when I went shopping ALL BY MYSELF)! All we did was sit around the aprartment and snuggle watching Sprout.    He didn't even feed me grapes while I reclined on a chaise :(.  All he fed me was homemade stuff, no lobster or steak.  WTH is wrong with him?  And all of this after he made me sleep in and wouldn't let my son leap on the bed.  He didn't get me diamonds, or emeralds, or plutonium.  What am I going to do with him?

I think I'll keep him!

Seriuosly, the only think I needed for Mother's day was a smile from my daughter, a hug and kiss from my son, and my husband to let me chill.  It was wonderful.

After reading so many post complaining about not having attention from their spouses on mothers day, or not getting stuff bought for them on mothers day.  It is so refreshing to hear a mother happy for being a mother on mothers day.

I dont need diamonds or lobster either...I however am human and humans need affirmations. Humans need to feel loved. Sounds like you had a nice day. ....Sounds like your husband did a great job;)

I got nothing... But it's normal... my kids are 6, 4, and 2, and so they depend on DH to help them with that kind of stuff. And he thinks I'm worthless. So, I was not expecting any different....
