What would you be?

Hi I was thinking about careers and wondering if I decided to go back to school what would I be? I have been a SAHM for 15 years and thinking about when the kids are grown what should I do with my life? I have no idea what I would do? I kind of flip flop between healthcare but not nursing. social work, counseling. Just to name a few. I would like so have a career and some point in life. That would make a decent salary. Realistically at this point in life if u could choose a Career what would you be?

Veterinarian. It's what I've wanted to be since I was five.

If I decided to change my career I'd want to become a nature/wildlife photographer. :)

 Sounds like me.. I've been a SAHM for 12 yrs now, and when the kids grow  older I want a career and am also leaning towards social work and counseling.

I wwnt to school to be a carpenter. I was good at it. I loved it. People loved my work. Then, the physical labor got to me. I have a bad back. So, I got a job at Home Depot. My knowledge has made me excell. I teach clinics and do lots of one on one to help people with projects. Right now, I am the garden supervisor. I would like to move up in the company and stay long term. If I went to school, it would be to improve my job performance. I really would like to learn Japanese, as we have a large Japanese population here in Hawaii

I would probably be still working as a direct care aid. That is what I was doing 8 years ago before dd was born.  It didn't pay alot, but it did pay the bills.  It was a really rewarding job, but it could be stressful at times, and the hours weren't always convienient, as I was required to work all shifts plus weekends and holidays when schedualed.  Made finding time to get together with the family tough.

I would become a doula! : ) Then, once the LO's are all grown up, I plan on becoming a midwife. : ) I used to work with special needs children and loved it. But, I feel I am in a different phase in my life and would love to dedicate my time to helping ensure babies are born safely and happily! : )
