Cleaning....

So I understand that I'm home more which means I have time to do more cleaning than dh.....HOWEVER, if you lift the toilet lid to go to the bathroom and you see that the underside of the lid is dirty then CLEAN IT! For that matter, clean the whole toilet. Is that too much to ask??!! Okay, I'm done. ;)

Are you married to my husband? We had a knock down dragout because of this exact same thing!!! I dont ever lift the lid so why would I know its so filthy? You are there, clean it! I even asked him if it was above him to clean a toilet. He said no but, still was upset that he had to do it.

DH is useless around the house and doesn't even "see" the mess. His Mom never cleaned so it is no surprise that he never learned. I get aggravated now because at 30 he should be way past the point of blaming mommy for not teaching him. It's not rocket science.

 No I don't think it's too much to ask.  Everyone in the house uses the toilet but it's our job to clean it?  How does that work?  I don't recall signing up for that job all by myself, do you?  LOL
