My 9 year old dishwasher isn't cleaning well anymore. Would you call someone to repair it or would you replace it?

After 9 years, it just may have seen its best days.. i guess I would have to say out with the old and in with the new. With the cost of repairs on anything these days, its most likely going to be worth it to get a newer model.

Replace, my H is handy and fixed ours, buying the part off ebay because the repair man quoted us over $300. If we were not selling our house we would have bought new for sure!

I'm with the other ladies, you should replace it.

Replace.

One good thing my Mother taught me was about getting Service Contracts. They're worth it. I credit them for the longevity of the Appliances in our House. Both the Washer and the Dishwasher are going on 33 years old (Then again, they did build things to last back in the 70s). The Washer won't be repaired again, it'll be replaced when it goes next time.
