Female. I just think they can relate better especially when it comes to pregnancy/childbirth and all that comes with that.

I have had both.Doesn't matter to me.Currently I have a male primary care doc and he does my internal exams.I don't think because a doc is female makes her more qualified to deal with womens needs. My male doc is very understanding and compassionate towards me.Love him! :)

You know when I first got pregnant I went to the gyno for the first time and saw a female, it was horrible.  I went once to her, she was so rough.  After that I go to a male doctor who is Indian and very small frame with very small hands...he is very gentle.  LOL  Love him!

I don't care except that the male doctors bring in nurses to chaperone and I like as few people as possible staring at my crotch.

I don't like having to go to a gyno period. when it's a guy they always have a nurse in there too so i guess it really doesn't bother me either way. I just don't like going haven't been since i had my tubes tied in 08. Probably should do something about that i guess.

I prefer males but a female delivered my little girl because my ob couldn't make it and she was awesome too. :)
