Poll
Question: Personal question so be warned, lol. Hair "down there" or not?
Total Votes: 171
How many people shave it all off "down there". I usually go with the very small amount , trimmed up version. Lately though I've been noticing some little white strands coming in. (yes, the hair down there on me is getting some white strands even before the hair on my head is. I never knew this could happen this way before but it really don't make me feel like no spring chicken and it can't be attractive to dh,lol) Because of that, I was thinking of just shaving it all off. Its too darn tedious and I have too much to do to sit there and pluck those little suckers all the time. I always wonder though (as stupid an insecurity as this is) when I go in for my yearly pap or to my OB doc., woud it be strange that I prefer to be hairless down there or are they pretty much used to seeing that this day and age. I heard once that the younger generations tend to do this more than the older ones. I actually think it does look better at least trimmed up but its so much easier just to shave it all off especially if you have all those little white ones to pluck. So whats your opinion? I hope I set up the poll right. Never did one before so if it comes out messed up just a reply is fine.
No. We won't be going for it. First off, my DH would have to be sedated in order to allow it. Second, I mentioned earlier that I went bare once and hated it so why would I want him to do something that I can't stand myself? The only reason I ever mentioned it to him was to see his reaction.

Go for it! My DF prefers to be bare & so does a cpl of his friends. But this is the first I've heard of it so, was curious if It might be a new fad sorta thing.

Do a poll on the men! I'd love to see those results.
That would be an interesting poll. FTR - I mentioned to my DH once that there are men who trim or completely remove their hair down there. I asked if he would ever consider doing that. He looked at me like I had three heads.

Ah, I get it. Sorry. I misunderstood before.

Ok...I get it. Although, when I said, go for it; I meant to do a poll, not whether you should shave. That's a personal choice.

I normally leave a strip, trimmed. During pregnancies though when I shave I left a strip, it drove me nuts when I couldn't see while shaving then saw that it was crooked in the mirror lol. I did shave completely before going to the hospital for both inductions though, my thought was just in case I'd rather shave it then get dry shaved in a hurry.
Just cause I'm curious, why would they shave you at all?
Normally trimmed but occasionally will go bare. DH doesn't have a preference but will ask if I could go bare every now and then.

I use a hair clippers and keep it very short. BTW I also have random white hairs. Was traumatized when I first saw them
I know, me too. People tell me I look young for my age. I'm 38 but dh has proof that I'm not 28 like some tend to think
.Not that 38 is that old either imo. I'm kind of surprised I have white hairs coming in down there. I guess I just wonder if it could end up being a turn off to him. He would never say that but I do wonder about how long will it be before its all white. how do you cover up that? I'm so good at making myself look younger everywhere else but I be darn if something wasn't going to catch up to me. Oh well, I suppose now we'll have to start turning off the lights, lol. It probably bothers me more than him. Maybe if he gets some too, I'll feel better.
Thats funny but I've had that happen before. I'm the same way about trimming up before I go.

Some times i go bare but if I dont have time for that i use my clippers and do a close trim. I wear dress clothes and on occassion the cause my undies to snag the hair and there is nothing more painful then that. I rather go through another 45 hrs of labor all natural birth again then have my pubic hairs ripped out by my clothes. I usually shave a day or two before going to the obgyn. Im more embarrassed to have a forrest then being bare.

Trimmed small patch is the way to go for it to look nice but not like a little girl. My BF doesn't like it completely bare and thankfully keeps himself trimmed up also.
yeh, I do worry about that. I don't want to look like a little girl down there. I hear more and more people are doing it so I figure well, some must not be thinking of it that way and if mine is going to go all white I might is well just get rid of it. Idk, still feel most comfortable with the trimmed up version. I get carried away sometimes too and next thing you know, theres not much left anyway. Its kind of like when you trim your eyebrows to much. Up close you think your doing fine, then you stand back and look and your like uh-oh,lol.
I usually just remove the hair around my bikini line, and then I just trim. I tried shaving it off once, but won't do it anymore, because it itched like crazy when the hair started to grow back.
