I liked it. I took dd (8) and ds (3) yesterday. I had seen a post about it being scary so I warned both kids. They both loved it and it really wasn't scary.

Not yet, but i want to take my almost 5 year old ds...and leave the 14mo old ds home with dh so i don't end up in lobby for the whole movie again! (dh thinks its a great idea to bring little dsto movies with us....hahhahah)

Yes we saw it and thought the same thing...focuses more on the mother and daughter relaionship...it was very sweet.

 I saw it on Sunday with my D.D. she's 4 and she enjoyed it (well most of it) there was a big black scary bear that she wasn't too crazy about, but overall it was good and I really appreciate the fact that Merida wasn't the typical princess.

I saw it over the weekend. I wasn't impressed. It is more of a drama movie than a funny one. I wish I would have saved my money to rent it instead. My kids were not impressed either.
