I"m a new Mom living near Lock Haven, Pennsylvania and I"m new to the area, does anyone have any tips on meeting other Mommies in my area? I looked on meetup.com and there are NO groups in my area, unfortunately! I was going to start my own group but apparently one must pay $15/month to do so, LOL. Would love to know of any additional websites I could go on :)
I believe there is a couple Pennsylvania groups on here and a lot of libraries also have free story times, also check with the hospital you gave birth at they may have a group that meets,and last but not least see if there is a "Moms Club" chapter close by it's a great way to meet other people with LO's.G/L:)
yahoo groups? I know I have one for mom's in my Brooklyn area, you could try there. Call the local library and see if they have a story time. I think there is a website called momsmeet? Maybe someone else in CM might know if that is wrong. You plug in your zip and it show the groups that meet.
