Seriously people!?!?!?!?!? How freakin hard is it to NOT keep your kids in the car???? How do you forget they are in there? I know I only have one child now and she is very talkative, but I have NEVER one time have I forgotten that she was in the car. No matter how busy I am, how distracted I am, how different my schedule is, I have NEVER ONE TIME forgotten my child in the car! Would you want to be sitting in the car even with the damn windows cracked/down for more than 1 minute in this record breaking heat or ANY heat for that matter????????? I just can't wrap my brain around this stupidity. My heart breaks for those poor babies/toddlers/pets left to die in the heat.

I know. I don't understand that either. No living thing should be left in the car in this heat.

too busy!  too many things going on their mind!  not their typical routine!  the list of excuses goes on & on.  it's really sad.

There are reports almost daily in the US of a child dying in the heat by being left in a vehicle. I hate it. No excuses is acceptable. It just breaks my heart.

My sister did this with her 1 1/2 year old sleeping in the car. She put the windows down but a blanket on her. We live in CA so it is hot, hotter in the car. When I heard she left her in the car parked in our backyard I had my son wake her up cuz everyone ran to the car, she had been there for awhile and I heard my sister tell my mom she forgot about her...wow. My sister is a Physician's Assistant for the ER and pregnant and worse she had her hubby there to help. She said she was thinking about how important it was for her to take a nap. I told her she should know better and next time to go home put her to bed and that I would of rather her drove her around in the car. Some people just are so freaking selfish. I was super pissed and I told her, that I would rather her wake up all day and night long then to never wake up. You can't take these types of risks, so much can happen so quickly. I so hope they learned their lesson because if they ever do that again I will call the cops, she has been warned...

it disgusts me too really. I never left my son in the car not even for a minute, even with being a single mom and not having help. Doesn't matter, it is common sense not to leave a child or a pet in the car. Things can heat up too quickly even when you feel the weather is ok the temperature is so much different to a child/baby left in the car.

I have never ever forgotten a child in a car there is no excuse for being that stupid. I have 4 kids and a hectic schedule but can seem to remember my kids it's pretty freakin simple.

I have never.forgotten wither of my kids in the car. In fact I have forgotten they where NOT with me and went to get them out. If ppl are so busy they can't remember their kids, they need to rethink their priorities.

Yea i agree. There is absolutely no excuse for such stupidity. It must be a pretty common issue cause there's an app to help remember your kids in the car. I heard about it in the news. How sad is that?
