Help! I don't understand the lingo!

I don't understand what things like "DD" and "DH" etc on here mean.  I need a translator! Help me please.  Thanks.

DD means dear daughter and DH means dear husband. I know there's a whole list of what all the abbreviations mean and I know one of us will post the rest :)

I'm so glad someone clarified these abbreviations. I think, though, since my family is just a family of two I'll stick to calling my daughter Squids.
