Every day i have to pick thrugh my dd hair she dont like sitting still so it hard for me to get them all out...im doing her hair now with the cvs lice killing shampoo and tree tea oil its just the pickings of the eggs thats the worst part...her hair not so long just time consuming...just want them gone for good..we wash everything too and they come back, she dont go to day care or school so...it my moms falt we go through this my other 2 kids had it and she brought the bugs here..and were having to buy the shampoo out of our money we cant really aford....

We told the boys that if they got lice, we'd shave their heads. Now, having a girl is different of course but if she doesn't go to school or anything, you could always put that money into really cool scarves she could wear until her hair grows back. I don't know what I would do. I think the idea of bugs in my kids' hair would make me shave them. That's me.

Mayo usually has vinegar in it too.

They both will kill the bugs and the Listerine also dissolves the glue that adheres the nits to the hair. We always use tea tree oil in our shampoo but when she goes to her moms for a week she comes back with lice.
