If you are a working Mom, how long before your baby was born did you stop working? How many weeks did you take for leave?
I was scheduled to be induced so I worked right up to the day before going into the hospital and then I took 3 months off.
** It's 5 O'clock Somewhere **
I worked up until I was induced at 41 weeks, 5 days. I then had 14 weeks off. We get 12 weeks, but since I would have been returning the week before Christmas and our company gives us the week between Christmas and New Year's off, I just asked if I could extend it. I had a ton of vacation and sick days saved up so I got paid for the whole time I was off.

I didn't work with my 1st. With my 2nd, I was doing a lot of freelance work and going to school fulltime so I just stopped taking work when a school semester ended at 5 months along. This time, I'm working up until I give birth and then I will be taking 1-2 weeks off (more if I have complications or a c-section that would make it difficult). I know it doesn't seem like much, but I run a home daycare and don't want to inconvenience parents any more than I have to. I will have lots of help though for my first 2-3 weeks back.
I quit my job about 3 weeks after I found out I was pregnant. (because the ex wanted me to). I stayed at home until I got divorced 4 years later and 2 babies later.
First two kids I was in school so I was getting only 6 weeks. My 3rd I got as much time as needed I wasnt working. With my 4th I was able to work up to the week of because I was being induced. But I came to work atleast once a week to actuallywork and brought her along because they couldnt do my work. But i stayed home for 7 weeks.
