Anyone know what the PA law is for calling out after giving a resignation?? **UPDATE**
I just called out for my shifts tonight and tomorrow morning for work. My Supervisor is telling me if I call out I am forfitting my Vacation and personal time that I have acquired to get paid out for. Anyone know if this is true?? If it is I am pissed because then I will have to work Monday (Labor Day) which I requested off in February and was denied because I got off July 4th. Not to mention that is 172 hrs of Vacation and 48hrs of Personal I will not get compensated for!!!
According to the Human Resource employee handbook they can take out half of my vacation time if I call out after giving my resignation. I am stuck working tonight, tomorrow morning and Monday :( I'm so pissed. I put my time in for Labor Day back in February and since some other wench wanted off 4th of July and I got it in before her I have to forgo Labor Day. It sucks!!!!!!!!!! My Mom is in town for a week from CA I am so pissed.
