Exasperated. That's the best description I've got. I'm sure all of you seasoned moms will smile knowingly and understand that "it too shall pass" but as a new mom, my 15 month old daughter is clinging to me like a tiny appendage. I love being with her but we've hit Defcon 5 with separation anxiety to the point where going to the bathroom causes a scene because she can't come too. (this is also relative to how sleepy she is of course). Last night I couldn't even put her down in her crib without her waking in terror of not touching me until afte midnight. I'm exhausted... DH is working offshore.... Somebody tell me it's a phase. Pretty please?
