A stranger brought tears to my eyes today

My daughter kicked her school back out of our car. She failed to tell me til we was almost home. So we went back to the store where she lost it. The lady that was parked by us was still there. I asked her if she had found a backpack. She said she did and handed it to me.

She said please don't be mad. I was going through trying to find your address. And noticed your daughter was low on lunch money. She than said I put $2 in her bag. Its not much but I'm paying it forward.

I explained to her that I put money on her lunch account last Friday. They must not have credited it yet. I tried giving her money back. She wouldn't take it she said please keep it.

She said I know it's not much but I want to pay it forward. She will never know what that meant to me. Just her kindness means the world.

Just thought I'd share my day with every one.

How nice. The last time my daughter had lunch money was when the school decided that we owed them (she had never eaten hot lunch before) and denied her the thanksgiving lunch een though I sent money for it. She hadsn't eaten hot lunch since.

Its so true. If everyone gave just what they could, how much better would the world be. Honestly ,almost seven billion giving a dollar or two, it would be astronomical. But instead we live in a world where greedy and selfishness reigns supreme.

That's sweet. I think it's important to pay it forward when you can.
