Isn't monopoly the standard lol?

Depends on the ages. My kids are 4&6, we love guess who, operation, candyland, and kids monopoly. We have one that has a little atm and stuff- found it at target for $3!

Anyway, scrabble also. :)

If the kiddos are like 7 or older, Phase 10 Twist is a great game that not everyone has. Quiddler is a great card game for families with kids of spelling ages too!

Apples to Apples is a great game.  My daughter just asked for Fibber, now that looks like a lot of fun.  Don't forget chutes and ladders, my daughter is 11 and she still likes to play it.
