Last week I found a big lump in my breast

Now it's gone.

I was taking a shower and the lump was so big, you can feel it without even looking for it. It was about the size of a walnut. I made a dr's appt right away and it's tomorrow- now the lump has shrunk.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? I now wonder if it's a waste of time to go to the doctor.

It has never happened to me, but I do not think it is a waste of time, personally I would still go to the Dr. if it were me, good luck.

I would still keep appt. A lot of lumps are NOT cancer but it's worth getting checked out for peace of mind.

It could be a cyst...
fluid filled so that might explain the shrinkiing. Go get checked anyhow.

Yes! Then it showed up on the other breast. I went and got checked. Turns out caffeine was the cause. Are you a big caffeine drinker?

Yeah I'm with general consensus.  Go get checked it doesn't hurt to make sure your healthy for yourself and loved ones.  My mom use to get them when she was stressed.
