How old is your baby...

...in weeks? months? years?

When do you make the switch from one unit of time to the next?

We referred to my daughter in weeks until she was 3 months old, then switched to months. Now we're upon her 1st birthday and my husband wants to count by years now. Although I feel like most people still use months until the child is 2 years old.

Thoughts?

I started saying "months" at 2 months. I'm too much of a spazz to keep up with weeks.

We started months at 3 months old, then years when they turned 2.

I counted in weeks until she was 2 or 3 months old and then switched to months.  I used months until she was 18 months old and then just said she was a year and a half and went from there....

My baby will be 15 next month.
I stopped using the number of months, when he turned a year old.

My "babies" are 17, 12, and 11. My actual baby is 3 weeks old. I'll use months when she turns a month old. I stop saying their age in months when they turn 2.

My baby is 2 1/2 weeks. I'll use weeks until she is a month old. Then I will probably switch to months.
