Thermostat temp

What is your usual setting of your home tempurature in the Winter?

We usually have it at 64 when we are gone and up to 70 when we are home. At 12am it resets back to 64 when everyones snug in bed and throughout the day it goes back down.

When we get up for school I crank it back up to 70...(DH is up and out the door in 5min so it makes no difference to him at 6am)...

I like that I can program it to reset down to 64 degrees! I don't have to remember and it does save $$.

I control the heat! ;) but I also pay the bills. DH works so much... he can't calculate on his days off. Ha!

Ours is at 72-73 all day and night. It's programmable but that what I have programmed. I would have it higher but DH gets hot, I'm always cold.

Pre-wood boiler it was always 63 during the day and 58 at night. Now our heat is almost free, so he doesn't care.

We kept our old house set at 72 year round.....my choice in the winter, DH's choice in the summer.

We're having heater issues here though. We have the thermostats set at 21*C (about 70*F) but the houses here aren't insulated at all (concrete walls, that's it) so we have small space heaters in the bedrooms...and one in the living room as well.

well I am in Florida, so when we go to bed, we drop it to usually 75 but if no one is home then we put it up to 80.
