but the place we go to closed!
we checked out a new place 30 minutes away but it's twice the price and they want to rotate the kids through stations. the bathrooms are outside of the building and would require someone at the door escorting kids back and forth. it's just not a good option.
so today we went to check one an hour away. we called them this morning to verify public play times and the size of the building.
they said public play was from 10-3 so we tell the kids where we are going and arrive at noon. they ask which party we are here for. umm.. none of them. they say they have private parties booked until 8! are you kidding me? that's why we called just a couple of hours ago and asked! and there must have been at least 5 "private" parties in there. I mean the place was packed! so I tell her "well we will not be bringing our party of 50 children to a place that lies to us" and we leave. my kids were crying and crushed!
and now we need a new place. it has to hold at least 50 kids. boys and girls from kindergarten to 6th grade although some preschool/toddler siblings and teenage student leaders attend as well. there aren't any more bounce house places within an hour's drive. we used to go to a place that has go karts and mini golf and such but it was overpriced and poorly run. they wouldn't start activating cards until we got there so we had to keep the kids standing there waiting for 30 minutes while they did it. it's the only place like that within an hour too.
anybody have any clue where else we could go? our budget is under $10/kid so places like Chuck e cheese and johns incredible pizza are out. we usually stay for about 4 hours and bring food with us.
