what are you doing for V day this year?

i just had hip surgery so we won't do a lot... He will probably buy me flowers, because I love flowers, and we have a reservation for dinner, but that will be enough to wear me out so probably back home after..

We usually just get Chinese takeout since the restaurants are so crowded.

We have a basketball game that night for my son. We usually cook lobster and different sides for dinner that night and it works for us :)

We typically don't do a whole lot of anything. I know that it's important to keep romance alive & all but we both agree that valentines day is more for when you are dating then when you've been together for a long time. It's the same way we feel about other holidays like Christmas & birthdays are for kids. That's just us though. I think a card would be nice.

For us personally, being together for 17 years, it has just changed the way we do things...but being together for a long time doesn't stop up from doing things with and for one another. To each their own, I just don't understand your concept... :)
