WooHoo - I ordered my loom last night!!!!  I woke up to the order confirmation email.

I'm not sure exactly when it will ship, and I'm sure it will take a long time to get here and deal with customs/etc.  But I am just so excited that I had to share!!!

There are different types of looms.  The one I'm getting, like the one in the picture, is a floor loom.  The one I'm getting will have a 36 inch wide weaving surface.

There are also much LARGER looms which are, basically, industrial sized (you can weave a rug on them).  And they make table-top looms which are smaller and more for crafting.  There is a tapestry loom which stands upright (basically just a frame that thread is placed on and the design is put in bit by bit).  And very small hand-held looms which are basically for small crafts/kids.
