They are 5 & 6. We wake up at 7am so they can be at school by 8:20am. I am the first to admit I've been keeping them up much too late on school nights, partially because I work full time and feel like I hardly get to see them.
If you have children this age or have had children this age what bedtime schedule worked best for you?
We do 8, but the older kids (ages 7 and 9) can stay up until 8:30 if they want and read.
My older 2 are 7&9 and they go to bed at 8:30 or 9p depending on the night, on the weekends they stay up until 930 or sometimes even 10p if it's a holiday or something special. In the summer it's light out really late, so they go to bed 930ish usually. They have to be up at 730a to get to school on time. I think it really depends on your kids. If they're dragging around in the morning you probably should get them to bed earlier. My 4 and 2 year olds go to bed at 9p, but they get a nap and they don't have to get up as early for school.
He's up at 730am.
