Went to my first interview. Don't think it went that great. They said they usually take a few months before they hire somebody anyway. I got another one Monday. Hope it goes much better. Any pointers? I would appreciate anything. It's been along time since I've tried to get a job. Feels like I'm drowning here. Lol.

Good luck on your next interview. My only advice is to try to relax, smile, take time to answer interview questions and relate your answers to the job you are applying for. Be prepared for the tricky questions like~ what is something you could improve on.

Good luck! I'm no help with pointers since I've been out of the workforce for 6 years.
Have some room temp or slightly chilled water before you go in. If it is too cold it will slow down your brain.

Do not talk on your phone or excessively text while in the waiting area. The secretary may take notes on these things.

Dress for success. Even if it is for a job at a fast food place, wear a skirt and dress shirt or a suit.

Go soft colors on nail polish, if you wear any. Stay away from red and other bright shades. Red is a power color that can be off putting to an interviewer.
