Omg I have to vent!! My husbands granny got cable in his name without permission. Well not it is in collections. We finally got his credit up high enough for a home loan. Because he had bad credit from when he borrowed money for his "father" and the father Didnt make payments. So my question is woul y'all press charges on granny??? I have called everyone and the only way to remove it is to file a police report and ses to collections. If it gets paid it still stays on his record!!! I say put her ass in jail.
EDIT!! Dh credit is back up!!! YAY!! But I did make her give him $300.00 just for the fact she is stupid and worthless!!! So proud we wont ever have to see thta old woman again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wouldn't put her in jail but I would definitely make her pay me back. I couldn't put my family in jail. Are you absolutely sure hubby didn't know? I would find out how exactly she was able to do that. One would think the cable company is responsible to a point.

Ah! So she is just that kind of person with that type of history. I see. Then yeah I would file charges. I still blame the cable company also though. They should have measures in place to ensure the identity of the person ordering the cable.

No he didn't know. He is pissed. We go tomorrow to file fraud charges on her. This has hurt his credit very bad!! All she does is ruin things. He hasn't spoken with her in nearly two years because of how she and his "father" are. A real grandmother doesn't do this to her grandson!! Credit is very important!!

Quoting e-doolittle:
How did the cable company allow that to happen?

Not trying to get in the family business, but can you keep us updated on how this goes. I would like to know just in case this ever happens to me.
