I just have to share this and I've posted it in all my groups because I just think its wonderful!!!

FIVE generations of women in one picture :-) how nice is that???

My grandma is a very spunky woman. We always say she's a feisty old broad. And she just turned 89.

She has 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 brand new great-great grandchild :-).

I can't imagine how awesome it would be to see my family grow like that :-)

They took a pic today of the 5 generations. My grandma, her daughter, her granddaughter, her great grand daughter, and now her great great granddaughter. 5 generations of women :-)

Anyone else had something like this in your family?

I have just 4 generations in my family. If my grandma lives long enough for either ds or dd to have kids, then we will have 5 generations.

Lol yep. The oldest is about 95 or so and each child had a kid at 16-18 (the norm for their area)

We have a five generation picture of my oldest child, my husband, his mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. My oldest child is now 10 and her great great grandmother just died a few months ago. Unfortunately she lived on the other side of the country so we have no pictures of her with our other 5 children. My children's great great grandmother actually survived their great grandmother.

I knew my great-great-grandmother.  She died when I was 5 or so, but I remember her.
