We were out of town for a few days. When we got back there was a card from the Post Office in our mailbox (everyone here gets their mail in a PO Box....they are located all around town -- there is no home-delivery of mail).
Anyway... So there is a card in there for me saying I have 4 boxes to pick up. It also tells me what I owe for customs...thankfully, right around the amount we expected for it.
So it looks like MY LOOM IS HERE!!!!!
We also have a rental car at the moment (we have to return it tomorrow)...so we even should be able to bring it home ourselves (instead of trying to find someone to help us get it home).
I will update once it is safely at home.
**UPDATE***
Yessssssssss!!!!!!
The note in the mailbox WAS about the loom...it is here and in my house!!!! :-D
I'm glad I am on Passover break all of next week....I will be able to assemble it and be able to start figuring out how to use it soon.
WooHoo!!!!!!!!!
Quoting dallascowboys82:
What's a loom and what does it do?
This is what it will look like once assembled.

For making fabric....specifically, I use it to make Tallits (Jewish prayer shawls). I worked with one while living in the states....and loved it (and missed it) -- so for our anniversary, I ordered my own! :-)
