Am I crazy for not being as WORRIED as my Husband? We need to put our 3mo old baby girl in daycare starting soon since our at home sitter will be going to work......but my hubby is NOT having it!!!! Grrrrrr, what do I tell him to reassure him its okay?

Can he help you chose the daycare? Maybe involve him as much as you can

Has he suggested an alternative or is he planning on taking LO to work with him every day?

I have involved him in choosing the daycare, which he likes....come to find out, his Cousin works there, yay! But he just came straight out saying, "maybe I'm.just not ready to let her go!" It seems to stress me out, which turns into arguing.....I hate arguing :/

I told him today, everyone puts their LO in daycare, its part of parenting life.....I didnt know what else to say?! Eeeekkk

If you have a baby sling, Just casually hand it to him and tell him he needs to start practicing working with a baby attached to him. Might wake him up to reality!! :D

Does he have a better solution? I mean, it's not like working parents have much choice....

I agree with the others. Unless he's expecting for one of you to bring her to work with you, or become a SAHM parent I would ask him for better suggestions.

Have you tried finding another sitter for her?

I have no advice because I'm not comfortable with daycares what so ever.

I hated letting my LO go to daycare. I still do. My mom was a stay-at-home mom and I just don't feel like I'm being the best mom for her.  So I can totally sympathize with your husband.

it's always hard especially when they are that young !  I don't think I could have put DD in a daycare facillity at 3 months of age.  I stayed home until my DD was 10 months then I put her in a private home daycare with an awesome lady.  The fact that DD took to the place like she had always been there made it very easy for me.  Daycare is good for socialisation and many other things.  I don't regret staying home with her for the time I did nor putting her in day care.   Good luck to you and your hubby !
