What age do you think is too old...

Is there a specific age that you feel is too old to even consider getting pregnant?

I will be 37 in July and my age is one of the biggest factors on why we have chosen to be officially done having kids. We have our 2 boys and we feel blessed. But I know that getting pregnant at 37 and delivering at 38 is something that my OB/GYN frowns upon.

But I'm amazed at how many people keep telling me that 37 is still young to have kids.

What age do you consider too old for pregnancy?

For me it depends on your overall health. But my cut off was 35.
ETA: I had my kids at 19&21... then I tried having another but had 4 miscarriages between 25 & 31. So my body decided I was done before I did.

Delivering at 40 is my cut off, but my tubes are tied.

I have 2 years  till I am 35-36 if I am not pregnant by then I will have my uterus or cervix thinned, whatever that procedure is.

For ME, I didn't want to be pregnant after age 30.  Our fifth, and final, child was born a month after my 30th birthday.

For ANYONE ELSE, that is something each couple must decide for themselves.

For me, it would be 30. There can be a lot of complications the older you get so for me, 30 would be the cut off.

For me, 24 was the deadline. At 22, I was too young. I got pregnant when I was 23 and had my son2 months before I turned 24.
My friend had her son, when she was 39. He is 4 now and I couldn't imagine having a 4 year old, let alone a baby at this age (I just turned 39).
To each, their own...everyone is different.

I don't specify things like that.  I have a rather unusual view of it.  If it is meant to be, then it is.

I do know that at 35+, most women are considered high riskand it is not advisable to get pregnant.
