Now that the 3 month old has finally given in and gone to sleep - the 3 yo is sitting on the couch sobbing for no apparent reason (that I can find...)!  I have offered food, drink, cuddles, asked him what is wrong... to no avail!  I am tempted to just "ignore" him and let him "cry it out"... I don't know what else to do!

the 3yo, at least they're able to tell you what's wrong. the 3mo is just miserable, as are you!

Whiney 3 yr old. I think it would be easier to entertain them and maybe they won't be whiney for long.

Whining drives me crazy, so I'll take the three-month-old.

I have a whiny 3 1/2 year old right now, so at the moment I would choose a 3 month old.

I whiny 3 year old. At least the 3 year old could be tired. The gassy baby is more than likely in pain:(
