A mother's love is unconditional...right? What happens when it isn't?

Just to clarify, I mean my mother...I would die for my children.

 I can't imagine that.  Hopefully the mother recognizes it and does everything in her power to provide a loving stable enviornment inspite of herself.

Things were good when I was a child...but she has abandoned me as an adult. My sister and her children are still a part of her life...just not me or my children.

 I'm so sorry. I hope that whatever circumtances prompted that can be changed.
