Do you ever feel truly rested?

Since having kids, do you ever truly feel well rested?

My DH and I were talking the other day and we honestly couldn't remember a time that we didn't feel tired. I guess taking care of 2 young kids will do that!

But I'm wondering if we are abnormal. Are there other parents that wake up feeling rested?

lol, sometimes I wake up feeling rested.  That feeling quickly passes though.

No. :( on top of 3 kids and a jam packed schedule, I have insomnia issues.

I haven't felt well-rested in 6 years.

Ironically, DD is 6.

I can understand how you feel. I have sleep apnea, a 3 year old and work full time. So I never feel rested either. I guess I kind of got used to it though.

I swear, I am always tired. Even when I get 8 hours I am tired. Maybe I should see a doc or maybe I am just depressed again. Blah.
