I am vacationing my inlaws with my barely 2 year old dd, and they wanted to know if they should get her a carseat. I told them that I was bringing hers. I'm not comfortable using "unknown" seats. I've been here for a day and a half and my father in law brings out the carseat that they got for her so she could sit in it like a booster seat/high chair. I am SO glad that I brought her own car seat!!! My dh wanted me to just use the one they got for her.
This seat is for ages 4-10 weighing minimum 34 lbs. My dd is barely 2 (as of the 18th) and weighs 26 lbs.

Use yours. She'll be more familiar with it and you know it's safe. Be sure and tell them you appreciate the thought though!

Good for you! That kind of seat is absolutely not safe for a child as small as yours! I don't know what state they are in, but it might not even be legal for a child that small to use there, either.

Omg!  It's a good thing you were prepared.  A 2 year old is definitely not ready for a booster!

They don't know about carseat safety. They are 65/70, and besides my dd, the next youngest is 15. It's actually not legal in all 50 states to use for a child my dds age.
