I had time with my mother tonight,she brought a scrap book of us together through the years with her.I admit I love her a lot,the greatest gift besides love are the two grandchildren I gave her.She is the greatest female role model in my life believing in me.I remember times I was down,she was there.She gave me great tips when I became a mother 12 years ago.We added to that scrapbook too,when we were both diagnosed with breast cancer which we beat it together.Now a wedding on November,14th and she is glad I have my fiance Jason in my life whom treats me very well.She likes my fiance,shows the respect to her a lot.I told her that I am going to dedicate a song to her at the wedding and wanted to know which one.I told her that she has to find out at the reception.I picked out Momma's Song by Carrie Underwood,This one:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpFW4Yhy08k

That's wonderful that you have such a close relationship. Cherish the time you spend, it's never enough. My mom passed away over a year ago and I miss her so much. She wasn't here for my wedding but I did have certain songs played in her memory. Congrats on your upcoming wedding, and to both you and your mom for beating breast cancer.

YOU RAISE ME UP by Josh Groban

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

There is no life - no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up... To more than I can be.

*Since my Mother was a single Mom, for my wedding I had her walk me down the aisle and give me away and also instead of a Father-Daughter dance, I danced with my Mother (to this song) and he danced with his Mother but I then danced with his Father and he danced with my Mother.

it has a double meaning because our Mothers did raise us.
