Did you have a sweet 16 party? Big or small? Was it themed?

I had a combination sweet 16 party with one of my friends. It was in a hall so it was pretty big. I think it had a theme but I don't remember it.

I did. My dad and step-mom threw a party for me. Only my best-friend and her boyfriend came, out of about 20 people that said they would be there. My dads boss, who had known me since I was 2 was kind enough to buy all the food.  We had baked potatoes and steak for 2 weeks!

Besides being stood up by my friends, I was kinda miserable anyhow.....I dropped my curling iron in my lap earlier that day. It had stuck to my skin and I had to rip it off. I still sport a 3" long scar on my leg from that.

I did, sort of. It wasn't anything big, no special theme or tons of decorations. Just my boyfriend, a few of my friends, and my parents were kind enough to stay out of the way most of the time ;) My dad built us a bonfire in the back yard and we had cake, coffee, and presents for me in the living room. Lots of laughs. I miss those guys and gals. All in all it was a sweet sixteen indeed, but nothing at all like they usually make ito ut ot be on TV. But that was just the way I wanted it to be.

Nope, I was on vacay with my Daddy.  It was a lovely day of fun that included shopping.

That sounds cool!  I love simple things, they tend to be a lot more memorable.

No. I turned 16 on Easter weekend and everybody forgot about my birthday, including my parents.
