No we do not celebrate & we have never
No, we don't (even though DH has Irish roots). Even growing up I don't remember actually "celebrating" it.
Since it falls on a Monday, we will be celebrating the weekend of. We're actually going to a party on Saturday and one on Sunday... There goes my entire weekend, lol
My SO took the day off on Monday, so he'll be out celebrating while I'm at work :(
** It's 5 O'clock Somewhere **
I usually just make corned beef and cabbage and sometimes Irish potatoes.
We dont really celebrate, but I do use it as an excuse to make my corned beef. It is a week long process so I dont do it terribly often. Even though corned beef isnt really an actual Irish tradition (it is more of an Americanized St Patrick's Day tradition) It is still super tasty LOL.
We noramlly don't do anything for it. Last year though we went out to dinner and me, my dad and a friend of mine all had green beer. :)
Yep. It's my parents anniversary, so we've always celebrated it. nothing huge or fancy
