Nope since he pissed me off the Saturday prior and he was leaving for a business trip anyway
We did the same thing we did for Mother's day~ nothing, lol.
Actually we don't celebrate either or Valentine's day, St. Patrick's Day, etc.
My SO met up with his dad in the morning they went for a ride on their motorcycles and out for breakfast. Then we headed over to my dad's house where we hung out for a bit and I took everyone out for dinner.
** It's 5 O'clock Somewhere **
We had a cookout, had my mom and dad both over. His dad passed away about 6 years ago.
We stayed home! But that doesn't mean DH wasn't busy weeding his garden, putting up tomato & pepper cages, and putting up the fence around the garden...he just finally had time to do all of that. I did make dinner (something I usually don't do on the weekends.)
We went to a local theme park. DH's mom bought us season passes, and we decided to go, because it was the only day off we both share.
We ended up going out of town for the weekend. My brother was visiting a city a couple hours away so we all went including my father and step mother. It was a very fun and exhausting weekend.
